We are excited and blessed to represent the Open Door Presbyterian Church family by being sent on a short-term mission trip to NE Asia from June 1, 2018 to June 9, 2018. We will be spending time with local missionaries in the area, some of which have been there for over six years at this point. We will also work with and minister to the YIA and World Learning Tree staff and students. And we look to seeing what additional partnerships we can foster as we continue to build our support for this region.
With every short-term mission trip there is always a spiritual and financial obligation the team is responsible for. As a team we have dedicated to weekly meetings along with daily devotionals focused on the mission trip. We have shared testimonies with one another and have studied into the current events of the region to understand where we are going.
Financially, each team member is responsible to raise funds of $900 by 5/28/2018 to help pay for the cost of travel, lodging, and materials for the mission work during our stay. We thank you for partnering up with us in this endeavor, both in prayer and finances, and we look forward to sharing with you our experiences when we return!
