2017 Central Asia

Dear Friends and Family,

We have some exciting news to share with you!

This summer, we will be traveling to Central Asia with our church, Open Door Presbyterian Church, from August 4 - August 13, 2017. We will work alongside a beloved family who’s been living and working in the area for over 10 years.

Our week-long trip will allow us to take part in what God has already been doing in loving the people of Central Asia. We are truly excited and grateful that God has given us this opportunity to experience and participate in what He is doing in this city. As you can imagine, a trip like this requires a village and we can use your support. Financially, our team must have $21,700 by Friday, July 21 to help pay for the costs of travel, lodging and the materials needed for ministry.  (A portion of this sum has been covered by our own personal deposits and the church, but we need to fundraise the remainder).

Another way to support us is to join us in prayer! We are all very excited to contribute to the wonderful work that is going on in this city. But we need strength and encouragement through your generous prayers. We believe that God will use this opportunity to bless us in ways that will expand our capacity to love and to serve, and hope to bless everyone we meet as we work in God’s field. - That we would have hearts of worship as we train, prep and go;
- That our ears and eyes would be open to how God is moving in us and in the places we'll be visiting;
- And for the spiritual and physical protection of our team.
